REPORT OF MARRIAGE

Marriages of Filipino citizens solemnized outside the Philippine Embassy must be reported to the Foreign Service post with jurisdiction over the town/city/country where the marriage was performed. The Report of Marriage will then be sent to the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila for onward transmittal to the Office of the Civil Registrar General.

Requirements:
• Marriage Certificate
• Duly accomplished Report of Marriage application form
• Original & 1 photocopy of data page of passports of Filipino and Foreign Spouse
• Application Fee of €22.50

REMINDER: The marriage of Filipino citizens solemnized outside of the Philippine Embassy must be immediately reported. Applications for Report of Marriage after one year from the date of matrimony shall require the execution and submission of an Affidavit of Delayed Registration of Marriage, with a fee of €22.50.
