- Certificate of Legal Capacity to Marry issued by the Local Civil Registrar of the Municipality/City where the Filipino citizen is a resident, authenticated by Authentication Division, DFA Manila (Original & one photocopy), or
- Negative Certification that the Filipino has no recorded marriage in the Local Civil Registrar of Municipality/City where the Filipino citizen is a resident, authenticated by Authentication Division, DFA Manila (Original & one photocopy)
• Original and one (1) photocopy of Authenticated Parental Consent (for applicants aged 18 years to 21 years) – OR original and one (1) photocopy of Authenticated Parental Advice (for applicants aged 21 years to 25 years). The Parental Consent or Advice should indicate the name of the fiancé/fiancée and should go through the following (if executed in the Philippines): Notary Public; Regional Trial Court; and DFA Manila, Authentication Division.
If parent/s is/are in Portugal, affidavits of consent and parental advice may be filed personally by the parent/s at the Embassy / Consulate General, for a fee of €22.50 per affidavit.
